Wedding Venue Decorative Epoxy Flooring

Project Summary

A prominent venue for wedding receptions overlooking downtown Kansas City called upon Major to create a new finished look inside of their space. When we entered, from baseboards up to the chandeliers the space was elegant and well appointed. The floors, however, were in a place that left something to be desired. It was a poorly polished floor with mediocre patch work. The client was looking for something elegant and finished to complete the space. Because of the decorative nature of the finished look, Major created 5 separate 20 sft mock-ups for approval by the venue’s ownership’s group. Once there was a design that the ownership agreed on, it was time to go to work. It took 5 days to prep and repair the concrete and install the new artistic floor, this was important because the venue had events on the horizon. It was critical they were able to service their clients with a new and improved elegance. Upon completion, the floor was no longer an eyesore and became one of the focal points of this highly sought after event space.
