Silicone Roof Coating Restoration Over Modified Bitumen

About The Building: In Kansas City- Missouri, the neighborhood of Westport is known as an entertainment area with festive pubs, bars and historic buildings, rich with culture. The building located at 3957 Broadway Blvd sits just north of the heart of downtown Westport and has housed several diverse tenants over its years. In 2016, the ownership of the building changed and the new owner’s goal was to revamp the 3-suite building, bringing back full occupancy. Rennovation commenced in 2017 and one of the major issues with the building was its old, leaky roof made it unattractive to potential tenants. Loch Lloyd: Neighborhood Light Poles Restored

The private neighborhood of Loch Lloyd is nestled in the northwestern corner of Cass County, Missouri and is recognized for its resort-like community with many luxurious homes, amenities, and signature golf course. The neighborhood stretches around a lake and therefore has many long, twisty streets all accompanied by street lights. Major Painting was awarded the project of cleaning and painting 125 street light poles by the HOA. Problem: The Loch Lloyd Community is a very private community that was developed around a lot of trees and a man made lake. With the lake and the natural, wooded enviornment around the community we believe the main reason  these original light poles needed to be cleaned as well as repainted was due to all the bugs from the trees and lake. The top light fixture area was a...Light Pole with Double Fixtures that was painted black

Summary: In late 2016, Major Painting was contacted by the staff at Ply-Gem in regards to painting a couple of their large metal silos at their facility in Kearney, Missouri. The facility, which manufactures different types of siding and building products uses the silos for storage and production of their products. With the silos being original and never repainted since installation, they were starting to show their age with large rust streaks on the sides of them and many miscellaneous areas of surface rust covering them. In late Spring of 2017, Major painting was contracted to paint (1) 90’ and (1) 40’, starting the process of maintaining the (7) silos which are vital assets to the facilities operations. Problem: Surface Rust-With the silos being original to facilities construction, there was excessive rust around the bottoms of the...IMG 1845

Central Power System's Clean Look

In the Spring of 2017, Major Painting was contracted by Central Power Systems and Services to repaint the exterior of their 55,000 square foot corporate headquarters inLiberty, MO. The company was in search for a commercial painting contractor that could not only revive the appearance of the exterior of their facility, but also provide the correct application and coating process which would help seal the masonry elevations, therefore eliminating their current water penetration problems. Problem: The existing coating system applied to the masonry elevations was failing and faded. In many areas, water had found a way to penetrate past the coating, therefore pocketing between the coating and the concrete substrate, eventually breaking down the substrate to a degree as well as blistering and peeling the paint. Coupled with coating failure was the 20-year-old faded and...Before Picture of Commercial Repaint
