Retirement Community Enjoys New Look

Nestled just northeast of 40 Hwy and 7 Hwy in Blue Springs, Missouri, resides a small retirement community. The community, made up of many outgoing and energetic elder, enjoys the outdoors and spending time with their neighbors was unfortunately experiencing excessive wood rot and paint failure on one of their streets. Therefore, this spring Major Painting was contracted by the community's HOA to address the wood rot issues and to repaint the homes. In the Spring of 2016, Kansas City's Commercial Repaint Specialist, Major Painting, executed the project. With 11 homes, each home presented its own challenges. Major's first priority was to get the team of carpenters out in front of the painters. A Color Scheme to Sure Turn Heads

Late in the Fall of 2015, Major Painting was approached by the Owner of Contract Furnishings and his team of designers to come up with a new look for their old, and out dated building. The goal was to bring more curb appeal to the old 6,500 square foot building. The original colors had faded tremendously, giving the building little to no flare, therefore not standing out, although it being on one of the busiest streets in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri.  Contract Furnishings' amazing designers came up with a subtle, but elegant color scheme just hours before the project started. Neighborhood Retail Center Freshened Up

Lakewood is a notorious lake community in Lee's Summit, Missouri known for their beautiful homes, lake, and golf course. In March of 2016, Major Painting was honnored to be chosen to restore the beauty of this legendary office center at the entrance of the neighborhood.   The two week project included soffit repair, trim board repair, new trash enclosure gates, new downspouts, caps for the cedar beams to prevent further deterioration, removal of an exterior popcorn ceiling, and of course a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams Woodscapes Solid Stain.   Direct-to-metal bronzetone was used to paint the back man doors, window frames and gutters as well as 15 gallons of Sherwin Williams Woodscapes Solid Stain.
